Surveys

bITa Center will analyse on a continuous basis business IT related issues. Sometimes this is part of our own research programme, but equally it can be performed together with other instutes or (framework owner) organisations.

bITa as a knowledge hub sits between IT and the business with the objective of aligning or unifying IT with the business it serves. There are many things bITa can and should do but we have to focus on the priorities of the members of the organisation.

The survey are conducted anonymously. You can leave your details if you would like to be kept informed.

From time to time bITa Center will conduct survey with a closed group. If you would like to be part of such a group, please drop us a mail

bITa Mission Scan

As our audience grows in numbers fastly and widens in scope especially with the involvement of business members we perform mission scans on a regular basis to make sure bITa is addressing the then current objectives. The scan asked two scene setting questions and three material questions.

The following is the bITa mission statement pulled together from the mission scan, based upon the priorities of the initial responses.

“BITa’s mission is to improve the alignment of Business and IT domains by standardising terminology used in IT to that of the business, by aligning the many and various IT and management frameworks, by addressing cultural issues that separate IT from the business and by adopting BPR to create a unifying reference framework.

BITa’s mission to its supporters is to provide best practice advice on the use of aligned frameworks, to provide independent information on business and IT domains and frameworks, their strengths and shortcomings along with information on the gaps and duplications in the business and IT frameworks.

To achieve the mission, bITa should work with the supporters to provide access to all domain and framework materials from the bITa website, work with framework interest groups e.g. the itSMF, DSDM, ISACA, BPM FORUM, IFEAD, etc, and provide case studies, free publications, research, masterclasses, seminars and summits on bITa topics.”
